Gantt Chart Block

Guides
Background

Valuecase introduces Gantt charts, offering a versatile, customizable tool to track project phases, task progress, and deadlines seamlessly in a single view, enhancing your approach to onboarding, deals, and project planning.

We’re thrilled to unveil our Gantt chart block.

Whether you're onboarding a customer in multiple phases, closing a complex deal, or planning a project, Gantt charts provide a single, customizable view to track progress and meet deadlines—all in one place.

How it works in 3 steps

Step 1: Insert a Gantt chart as a new block in a Space or Template that has at least one action plan.

Step 2: Select which action plan(s) you want to link the Gantt chart to in the sidebar. (Like our milestone block, the Gantt chart is not a standalone block—it mirrors an existing action plan.)

Step 3: To see your tasks on the timeline, you must assign start and end dates to tasks. To do that, open a task, click on due date, activate "start dates", and then click twice in the date picker to define the date range. In templates, you can define relative start and end dates.

By the way, you don't have to navigate to your action plan for this. You can just click on any task directly in the Gantt chart.

And that's it—you should now see the task and its timeline on the Gantt chart.

We're looking forward to your feedback & use cases!
